Paul Barnes is a talented Dorset-based artist with over 20 years of experience in creating

fine images for dozens of commercial and private clients. His visualisation, perspectives

and execution are all honed to the client’s specific requirements whether to convey accurate

technical information such as in planning applications, or to present lifestyle impact for

advertising brochures or customer presentations.

In a world that is increasingly being swamped by ‘quick-fix’ digitally generated images, his

watercolour techniques create a visual experience that has made them collector’s items as

well as indispensable tools for architects, developers and builders. His flexibility has taken

him through a wide range of projects from simple planning sketches for the small

developer or builder through to extensive commissions from large national developers for major

public and private contracts.

Paul’s love of rail and fund-raising for the local Swanage Railway Trust has resulted

in him using his talents and the beauty of the local Dorset landscape to create their popular

sets of Christmas cards, fine art examples of which can be seen on this site.
